Performance DetailsThis production was first performed in May 2010 at Théâtre Aleph, in Paris, France. It is an examination of the social expectations of the fine line between politesse and the offensive in differing cultures. Working with an international team, we examined these unspoken rules in each of our own cultures in language, body language, personal disposition, and media. Through this research, we discovered an interconnectivity between the cultures, and a history behind our fashion of communication. Lunatique opens the doors to the meaning behind what we're saying and what it literally means.
